Ethereum ETFs’ prices surpass Bitcoin ETF, become ‘Wall Street’s preferred choice’

Wall Street-associated institutional buyers are continuing to scoop up all the Ethereum they can, raising its prices by about 60% in the past month. Now known as Wall Street’s preferred choice, Ethereum (ETH) is increasingly being favoured over Bitcoin due to its higher functionality and higher transaction activity.

Even though Bitcoin has been nicknamed ‘digital gold’ due to the extremely challenging mining requirements, Ethereum’s higher flexibility has made it a viable alternative to invest in digital cryptocurrencies.

Joseph Chalom, the co-CEO of SharpLink, and the second largest public holder of ETH, explains how this asset is becoming increasingly recognised as the next “trustware of global finance.”

“We believe in Ethereum as a transformational technology and a long-term opportunity,” said Chalom. Our investment thesis is Ethereum will be the neutral, decentralized platform that will secure stablecoins, a range of tokenized real-world assets, and other economic activity for the next generation.”

Currently, Ethereum’s value has increased tremendously in the last few weeks, even as investors poured in an unprecedented $729 million in spot ETFs through leading funds like BlackRock’s ETHA and Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust (ETH).

Ethereum’s head of digital asset research, Sean Farrell, predicts ETH could rise to $15,000 from current levels, especially as the GENIUS Act regulations come into effect, boosting clarity and ensuring the US Securities and Exchange Commission is finally getting its act together to oversee the digital finance age.
