New Delhi: Meta has decided to introduce their first-ever smart glasses with the display feature at its annual Connect conference, which is scheduled for September, and this news came to know because of the CNBC platform. In Meta Connect 2025, a two-day conference for developers is focusing on virtual reality, augmented reality, and the metaverse, which are officially scheduled to take place on September 17th and 18th. So be ready for the latest introduction by Meta in the technology industry.
The tech giant is expected to announce the two latest devices at the event, including the smart glasses, citing people familiar with the matter. Previously, we have seen some news of the Wristband, which was introduced by Meta, which basically allows users to control smart glasses through hand gestures, which is a pretty cool technology and engineering they have used in this Wristband. It is clear that Meta is winning the smart glasses race before the launch of their smart glasses.
Meta is likely to unveil the smart glasses in September at a price range of $800 or less $200, which means there is no confirmed information about the pricing, so users want to wait till the launch of these smart glasses. The device, codenamed Hypernova, is expected to feature an augmented reality display in the right lens, allowing wearers to view applications, notifications, and other content. Users will also be able to control the content via the Wristband, which they first introduced. These glasses are also expected to run on the customised version of Android, similar to the other Meta devices, and they will likely include a dedicated application for taking photos, accessing maps, and much more. They will feature in these smart glasses.
