While the Nothing Phone 3 will be the first model to have the latest OS update, the Nothing Phone 1 won’t have this Nothing OS 4.0 version upgrade, as it has reached the end of its promised three years of software updates, which were released in July 2022. CEO Carl Pei pledges that his company is working on the program for its day-one users, owners of the Phone 1, without going into any more details.
Those users who are still using Nothing’s first smartphone would very much appreciate it if that were the case, but don’t get their hopes up just yet; after all, Pei hasn’t really promised anything so far. But after some time, they are going to answer the first question for the Nothing smartphone users soon. But there is no confirmation that those Nothing Phone 3 users are ready for the latest Nothing OS 4.0 version update.
