New Delhi: Samsung has recently reported that it is gearing up for its next flagship cycle upgrade with the launch of the Galaxy S26 series next year. In some latest leaks, alleged photos of the Galaxy S26 Ultra have appeared online, giving some hints at the camera design change with the upcoming Samsung device. In some videos, it has shown the dummy Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. While the overall shape of the handset seems identical to last year’s Galaxy S25 Ultra, the camera module appears to be updated with the latest design similar to that of Galaxy Z Fold 7. In the leaked photos and videos, users can see a raised camera island housing triple camera sensors.
Samsung is going to introduce its Galaxy S26 series in February 2026. While there is no official announcement from the company, it is only expected that Samsung may carry forward its launch timeline in 2026 as well. The company may follow its three-model strategy, which may include Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3000nits. The device may come with a substantial performance boost by incorporating the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, as last year, this processor may also be optimised for Galaxy phones.
The processor has been reported to pair with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is stated to come with the best camera that the company has to offer. The quad camera setup is suggested to go with the 200MP primary sensor, 50MP ultra-wide camera sensor, 50MP telephoto camera lens with 5x optical zoom and an additional 10MP shooter. The device is believed to run on the One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 out of the box. The device is expected to house a standard 5000mAh battery with support for 60W wired fast charging and 20W wireless charging.
