New Delhi: Poco has recently teased its F8 series, which is going to include the Poco F8 Ultra and Poco F8 Pro. The Ultra version steps up with Qualcomm’s recently unveiled Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a massive 6500mAh battery, while the Pro model runs on last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and it will feature a 6210mAh battery capacity. Both devices feature stereo speaker setups tuned in collaboration with the US audio company Bose. The Poco F8 series devices are expected to debut in India in the coming weeks.
Poco F8 Ultra features a 6.9-inch AMOLED panel offering a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3500nits. The display also supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision HDR viewing. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, it comes with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. The phone will run on Android 16-based Xiaomi HyperOS 3. For photography, the device features a triple rear setup which includes a 50MP primary camera sensor with OIS support, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide camera sensor. On the front, there is a 32MP camera sensor for selfies and video calling. This Poco device houses a 6500mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging, along with 50W wireless charging.
The Poco F8 Pro comes with a smaller 6.59-inch AMOLED display with up to 120Hz of refresh rate and up to 3500nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the last-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It also runs on Android 16-based Xiaomi HyperOS 3. On the back panel, it comes with a 50MP primary camera sensor, a 50MP telephoto camera sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera sensor. On the front, there is a 20MP selfie shooter, which is housed with a 6210mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging.
