New Delhi: Beats is not relatively new company in the Indian market but it has introdcued its few earbuds like this time they have introduced its Powerbeats Pro 2 Nike Special Edition earbuds. It is powered by Apple’s H2 chip. At this point, some users will believe that it contains an Apple chip in these earbuds, and therefore Beats is an Apple-owned company.
These earbuds have Class 1 Bluetooth. The earbuds are workout oriented and they include secure-fit earbuds, heart rate tracking, Active Noise Cancellation and 54 hours of battery life. It is also compatible with Nike Run Club and it allows tracking fitness. The standard Powerbeats Pro 2 was launched in India last year in February at Rs 29,900.
Nike Special Edition Powerbeats Pro 2 will be designed in two colour tones with Black and Volt, and Nike signature colour theme. There is the Beats ‘b’ logo in one earbud, and the Nike Swoosh in the other earbud. The Volt splatter finish and inside the charging case are the JUST DO IT branding.
Powerbeats Pro 2 uses H2 chip supplied by Apple that is used in AirPods Pro 2. It is also compatible with Class 1 Bluetooth to be connected and work more effectively. The earbuds also have three microphones, and a voice accelerator to enhance the quality of calls.
The earbuds are particularly intended to be used during exercises and the new secure-fit earhooks have been crafted of lightweight nickel-titanium alloy that is flexible and strong. They also have sweats and water resistance rating of IPX4.
Powerbeats Pro 2 is equipped with a redesigned acoustics and is compatible with Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode. ANC is also used to prevent outside noise and Transparency mode also allows users to listen to their surroundings.
The earbuds also have the Adaptive EQ that applies sound depending on the ear shape of the user and Personalized Spatial audio that uses dynamic head tracking to allow the user to have a more immersive listening experience. There are additionally work out heart rate monitoring sensors that are built into earbuds.
The sensors are based on the LED optical technology to detect the blood flow in real time. This information can be synchronized with one of the supported fitness applications by the users, including the Nike Run Club application. This too can be disabled in case not necessary.
The earbuds also have a maximum of 10 hours of playback when fully charged and it also has 45 hours of overall battery life when using the charging case.
The 5 minutes charge is mentioned to provide 90 minutes of playback. The charging case has now been made to be charged wirelessly and is 33% smaller to make it easy to carry around. It is also compatible with the USB-C charging cable.
