New Delhi: TVS Motor Company has recently revealed its 20th Anniversary Edition of the Apache RTX 300 at the MotoSoul 2025 festival. The special edition comes with the unique colour scheme that gives it an exclusivity factor over the standard model. There are no mechanical changes to the motorcycle; the 20th Anniversary Edition of the Apache RTX 300 is finished in an exclusive livery featuring gloss black body, colour with champagne gold stripes and red accents throughout. This is complemented by the limited-edition badging and commemorative crest to mark 20 years of the TVS Apache series.
The brand has already sold the Lightning Black colour scheme, which also comes with the bronze accents, but it gets a matte black finish instead of gloss black. TVS Apache RTX 300 is the first motorcycle that uses the brand’s latest RTX D4 engine, which is a 299cc liquid-cooled motor that puts out 35bhp at 9,000 rpm and peak torque of 28.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The engine manages vibrations a lot better than the 310cc unit that people have seen on the Apache RR 310 and Apache RTR 310. The vibrations are still present; there are 35 horses for people to play with.
The RTX 300 feels very approachable as it delivers the power in a very gentle and linear manner. At no point is there a sudden surge of power; there is some twitchiness in the throttle. The gearbox on duty is a 6-speed unit with a bi-directional quickshifter; it is not as smooth as the one found on the 310s. At the high rpms, the quickshifter is smooth and slick; there is also a slipper clutch on offer, which makes the clutch action very light.
