New Delhi: Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has finally introduced the Tata Punch facelift in India, available at a starting price of Rs 5.59 lakh ex-showroom, with bookings opening recently. The Tata Punch facelift is set to garner an edge. Tata has officially showcased the updated Punch facelift through a teaser shared ahead of the launch, revealing the exterior and styling upgrades. While the SUV continues to carry forward its signature boxy stance, the refreshed design brings a sharper, more contemporary appeal. The styling now aligns closely with the electric version of the Punch- Punch.ev, featuring redesigned LED headlamps, sleeker DRLs, and cornering -function LED fog lamps.
Unlike some of Tata’s newer models, a full-width LED light bar is absent, but the facelift compensates with the reworked grille, sportier bumpers, fresh alloy designs, and the latest LED tail-lamp cluster. Practical enhancements include automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and a rear-washer wiper, ensuring improved convenience and usability. Tata Punch facelift gets refreshed interior with the sharper digital instrument cluster, bigger touchscreen infotainment unit, and redesigned controls that align with the brand’s latest interior styling approach. It gets a dual-tone interior, CentraLuxe control with armrest, a 26.03 cm touchscreen infotainment unit, a 17.8 cm digital cluster, 360-degree surround view, automatic climate control, Auto-dimming IRVM, and more.
The latest Punch has been unveiled with the latest 1.2-litre iTurbo petrol engine, mated with the 6-speed MT gearbox, and churns out 120 PS at 5500 rpm and 170 Nm at 1750- 4000 rpm.
