New Delhi: Lexus is now set to introduce its latest ES in India on March 20, 2026. It is also expected to provide the hybrid powertrain, and it will compete with the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series LWB, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class in the premium segment sedan.
The latest and upcoming 2026 Lexus ES has undergone a major transformation. It comes with smooth, flowing surfaces; the latest iteration has a sharp and futuristic design and a minimalistic interior.
This all-new ES has the shark nose-style front fascia with the Z-shaped LED headlamps. The spindle grille has given way to a clean, sporty design yet. The car has the sleek full-width LED taillights with the illuminated Lexus lettering in the center and the L-shaped trim housing at the rear reflectors on the bumper.
It also gets a simple dashboard with the horizontal air-conditioning vents. If we discuss the interior, it comes with a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system. There are several physical buttons, which actually means that most of the functions can be operated through the screen.
The 3-spoke steering wheel is also the latest, as it has the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
This latest ES will be powered with the Mark Levinson sound system, with an electrochromic panoramic sunroof, and it is equipped with front seats with the memory function, reclining rear seats, a Boss mode, and ADAS.
It also comes with the hybrid powertrains; the ES 33h comes with the 2.0-litre or 2.5-litre petrol hybrid coupled with an e-CVT.
Lexus also provides a more powerful ES 350h version. It was also offered as a pure EV in the international market. Furthermore, they are likely to get the hybrid version at the India debut.
