New Delhi: Porsche has finally unveiled its updated and refreshed 911 Turbo S (992.2) in India with the starting ex-showroom price of Rs 3.80 crore. It was unveiled globally at the Munich Motor Show earlier this year. The latest iteration of the iconic 911 brings electrified performance, sharper design, and reworked dynamics to the brand’s flagship supercar. Deliveries in India have been scheduled to begin in the second half of 2026. The latest Turbo S features Porsche’s new-generation 3.6-litre twin-turbo flat-six T-Hybrid powertrain, a heavily reworked unit shared with the latest 911 Carrera GTS, but with an added turbocharger for even greater output.
The result is staggering 711bhp and 800 Nm, marking a 61 bhp increase over its predecessor. Power is delivered to all four wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, enabling the coupe to blitz from 0-100kmph in just 2.5 seconds, with the 200kmph arriving in 8.4 seconds, and this refreshed supercar’s top speed is 322kmph. The latest 911 Turbo S shaved a remarkable 14 seconds off its Nürburgring lap time compared to the outgoing model, clocking 7:03.92 minutes, making it one of the quickest road-legal 911s ever built.
The Turbo S gets the Porsche’s most advanced chassis setup yet, featuring the latest Dynamic Classic Control system and the latest sports exhaust that’s 6.8kg lighter thanks to its titanium construction. Barking duties are handled by the largest discs ever fitted to a two-door Porsche, 420mm carbon ceramic rotors at the front and 410mm at the rear, providing immense stopping power and fade resistance. The 922.2 Turbo S sets itself apart with its wider stance, active front diffuser, latest centre-lock alloy wheels and a distinctive ducktail spoiler. The model also introduces a unique Turbonite finish, which is a bronze-grey hue reserved exclusively for Turbo-badged Porsches, applied to exterior accents, badging, and wheels.
The cabin follows the same Turbonite theme, with the accents on the steering wheel, dashboard, door trims, seat belts, and even the chronograph. The standard features include the 18-way adjustable Sport Seats Plus with memory, a digital driver’s display, wireless smartphone connectivity, dual-zone climate control, and a premium infotainment suite. The coupe is configured as a two-seater, though optional rear seats can be added at no extra cost; this is all about the latest upgraded Porsche 911 Turbo S (992.2).
