New Delhi: Kia is now all set to unveil its next-generation version of its first SUV in the Indian market, the Kia Seltos. The second-generation vehicle features multiple updates to its design, features, and cabin. The brand has been testing the SUV, revealing bits and pieces of the upcoming model. This latest generation of the Kia Seltos will debut with a fresh face. Using the design language of the international models of the brand, the SUV will come with the tiger face grille, complemented by the presence of the vertical lighting elements. The brand will offer the latest alloy wheels along with a fresh design for the tailgate, including the newest tail lamps. There will also be the latest bumpers on both sides.

The brand will be offering relatively smooth body panels and flush-sitting door handles to go with it. Users can expect the SUV to have a flatter roofline, a panoramic sunroof, and a shark fin antenna. The shoulder line of the vehicle is also likely to have a different appearance with the latest window lines. The second-generation Kia Seltos will come with the latest cabin design. It will get the newest layout for the dashboard with the latest colours and elements, all contributing to giving it a fresh appeal. To go with all this, the SUV will have a flat-bottom steering wheel with an offset logo of the brand. There will be the latest dual-screen setup with a single curved display.

The brand is also offering a set of physical controls for various features, along with the rotary controls for certain things. The second-generation Seltos is anticipated to have the same engine and transmission options as the first-generation model.

It will be available with both petrol and diesel engines: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel. These engines generate 114hp and 144 N · m, 158hp and 253 N · m, and 115hp and 250 N · m, respectively. It is also expected that both manual and automatic transmission choices will be available.
