New Delhi: Kawasaki has recently announced that it is offering a free Ohlins steering damper with the ZX-6R for no additional cost. However, this offer is applicable only till the 31st December. The price of the Kawasaki ZX-6R starts at Rs 12.49 lakh ex-showroom. The motorcycle is available only in one colour option, which is “Lime Green.” The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is powered by the well-known 636cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is tuned to deliver 127bhp at 13,000 rpm and achieves a peak torque of 69Nm at 11,000 rpm.
This engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission and feature a slip and assist clutch. Kawasaki is using a perimeter frame for the ZX-6R that is suspended by Showa SFF-BP forks at the front and the fully adjustable Showa monoshock at the rear. The front suspension has wheel travel of 120 mm, whereas at the rear, there is 151mm of wheel travel. For braking, the motorcycle is equipped with 310 mm twin discs at the front and a single disc brake at the rear.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has a wheelbase of 1,400mm and ground clearance of 130 mm. The seat height of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is 830mm, and the fuel tank capacity is 17 litres. The Kawasaki ZX-6R comes with a variety of electronic features such as ABS, a three-level traction control system, a quickshifter, and three riding modes: Road, Sport, and Rain. In addition, it includes a 4.3-inch TFT digital console that offers Bluetooth connectivity.
