New Delhi: Hyundai Motor India has recently unveiled the latest generation of the Venue in the Indian market. The automaker has expanded the variant lineup of the SUV with the introduction of the latest HX5 Plus version at Rs 9.99 lakh ex-showroom pricing. With this, the brand has improved the competitiveness of the model in terms of pricing. The SUV has been available in HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX6T, HX7, HX8, and HX10 variants. The Hyundai Venue HX5 Plus version will have a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine.
This unit produces 83 hp of power and 114 Nm of peak torque. This unit is paired with the five-speed manual transmission. With the pricing and the specs, the variant bridges the gap between the more expensive HX6 and the lower HX5 variants. The all-new Venue also gets the options of a 1.0L turbo GDi petrol engine that generates 120 hp of power and is available with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT transmission. The 1.5L CRDi diesel engine delivers 116 hp of power with 6-speed manual or automatic transmission choices.
The vehicle also gets the traction control modes for sand, mud, and snow, along with the mode selection featuring eco, normal, and sport settings, and paddle shifters available in select variants. The primary visual elements on the SUV include roof rails and quad-beam LED headlights, as well as the addition of the rear wiper and washer. Inside, the 2026 Hyundai Venue HX5 Plus features a wireless smartphone charger, enabling cable-free device charging. A driver console armrest with built-in storage has been introduced in the latest model for better ergonomics.
Passengers in the rear seats can now enjoy the benefit of the rear window sunshade. At the front, the driver’s power window has been upgraded to include auto up-down functionality with safety protection. With the launch of the HX5 Plus, Hyundai has also given an update to the current HX4 variant of the Venue, which now includes a driver seat height adjustment feature.
