New Delhi: Aprilia has marked its 10 years in MotoGP, and they have presented the RSV4 X-GP, a special edition motorcycle developed to celebrate its decade since the RS-GP’s debut in MotoGP. They have produced only 30 units of the RSV4 X-GP, reflecting Aprilia’s commitment to transferring its racing expertise into limited-edition factory derivative bikes. This RSV4 X-GP is the first production motorcycle to feature both leg and tail wings, technologies derived directly from the RS-GP25 prototype. These additions increase the aerodynamic load during braking and cornering, while the fairing design introduced ground effect aerodynamics to enhance grip and stability.

All fairings are made of carbon fibre using the MotoGP manufacturing processes, ensuring lightweight without compromising stiffness. Another highlight is the structural carbon seat support, manufactured by PAN Compositon. This component combines structural strength with aerodynamic efficiency and design innovation, making the riding dynamics more closely aligned with the racing prototype. A double pipe SC Project exhaust system and MotoGP-style details further strengthen the connection between track and production.
RSV4 X-GP runs on the 1099cc V4 engine tuned by Aprilia Racing to deliver 238 hp at 13,750 rpm and 131 Nm of torque at 11,750 rpm, paired with the advanced APX ECU for adjustable electronics, Brembo GP4 braking system, suspension, and Marchesini magnesium wheels. The machine reflects Aprilia’s deep racing heritage. It is priced at Rs 93,00,000 plus VAT. The 30 units will be sold exclusively online. Buyers will also receive the ECU management tools, racing accessories, a digital certificate of authenticity via blockchain, and an invitation to Aprilia’s Noale headquarters for a personalised handover experience.
