New Delhi: Asus has officially unveiled its long-awaited tablet in India, adding another player to the tablet lineup. After much time since Asus was showcased at CES, it returns with its new Asus Pad (T3201) in India. Overall, this tablet is designed to be a highly portable solution for multimedia entertainment, productivity, and creative workflows, with its build intended for such tasks. Made with a fiberglass rear package, its shape allows it to be very easy to move around during the day, when traveling, or taking part in remote work.
It features with a large 12.2-inch dual-layer OLED display. It has 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, 2.8K resolution, and a 144Hz refresh rate. This display has a typical brightness of 600nits and can jump to over 2000nits, which is optimized for use in different light situations. This also includes TUV certification for Low Flicker and Low Blue Light to reduce eye strain.
The tablet is designed with a quad speaker system featuring Dolby Atmos 360-degree Cinematic Sound that brings balanced dialogue and surround sound technology into music, movie, and gaming listening experiences. MediaTek Dimensity 8300 is used as the processor, providing the Asus Pad with its octa-core monster clocked to up to 3.35 GHz. The processor is coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which easily handles multitasking and app processing. It has a lithium-polymer battery with 9,000mAh capacity. It comes with a 45W power adapter, which can fill the battery up to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
It works automatically with the Android 16 operating system and offers pre-loaded applications like the popular Circle to Search, which helps the tablet user find information with ease by simply focusing on the spot without leaving the application. The base variant of Asus Pad (T3201) is priced at Rs 45,990. It will go on sale on Flipkart from August 6, 2026.
