Apple’s new Mac mini promises up to 40% faster CPU performance, double the graphics and storage speed, and up to four times faster AI performance, compared to its predecessor. The M6 chip features a 12-core GPU graphics processor with Neural Accelerators integrated into every core for the first time on a Mac mini. Meanwhile, the company has introduced a new Dual 16-core Neural Engine, which promises to provide up to twice the performance of the previous generation.
