New Delhi: Apple now seems to make crazy things, and some of the most excellent bangers are going to be unveiled soon in India and globally. It’s a busy product season, with the fresh regulatory documents hinting at multiple new devices. According to some sources, there are high chances of updated versions of the Vision Pro headset, iPad Pro, and MacBook Pro, all of which are expected to run on Apple’s latest M5 chip. The iPad Pro seems to be the first in line; Apple has stated that it is working on the 11-inch and 13-inch variants, both in the Wi-Fi and cellular versions. The paperwork suggests that these tablets could support Wi-Fi 7, which is going to offer faster connectivity.
The MacBook Pro refresh will take a little longer. Apple is reported to be preparing the M5-powered models in different configurations, including the M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max. The Mass production is expected to begin soon, with the launch window likely to stretch from late 2025 to early 2026. The Vision Pro 2 is one of the repotted devices that directly refers to the head-mounted device. The design might remain similar, the headset is tipped to switch from the M2 Processor to the faster M5 chip, making it more capable for the high-end AR and VR tasks. Apple is also expected to keep the price tag of $3,499. This upgraded model could make its debut by the end of the year.
Apple also has some great plans for the mixed reality category. Reports also suggest a lighter version of the headset, unofficially dubbed Vision Air, is in the works, though it may not arrive until 2027. The pattern also reports that the M5 iPad Pro could come first, followed by the latest MacBook Pro models, with the Vision Pro update slotting in towards the end of the year.
