Apple eyes AI-powered wearable with its new AI Pin

New Delhi: Apple has many things planned to get AI push up and running in 2026, and a latest report claims that the company is now preparing for an AI wearable PIN to its lineup soon. Apple’s unique AI wearable is stated to have three mics along with the two cameras, and users will be able to wear it on their clothes. It sounds earlier similar to the Humane AI PIN that made a lot of noise and eventually fizzled out, later sold to HP for a partial sum within the 2 years of launch.

Apple wants to give the wearable PIN another shot, and users could see it in the market in the near future. The wearable pin is stated to be thin, flat and comes in a disc-like circular shape made of aluminium and a glass shell. The company’s product engineers are hoping to make it as big as the AirTag but expect it to be slightly thicker to accommodate a bigger battery, cameras, and microphones. AI hardware is going to be lining up in the market, and OpenAI is tipped to spearhead the latest charge from later this year.

Apple could accelerate the plans to make its own AI device to counter the OpenAI product, and some expect the Apple device to launch sometime next year. AI chatbots have got the userbase, and now these companies need the hardware to keep them hooked in, but users are not sure if the market really needs another AI Pin-like device that can be worn by people. Apple could definitely have a bigger role to play in this space, and its latest look at Siri, powered by a custom Gemini AI model, could finally show us that the company means business. The latest Siri avatar will do everything that Gemini and ChatGPT offer for their users.
