Apple AirPods Pro 3 adds workout tracking with heart rate insights

New Delhi: Apple has officially announced their latest and awaited AirPods Pro 3, in their Awe Dropping event, where they have unveils the iPhone 17 series with some of the latest products, and this latest AirPods Pro 3 has now double as the heart rate tracker, it also features an calorie counter, AI powered Workout Buddy, along with the other upgrades like the 2x better ANC, longer battery life, and improved design of the latest AirPods Pro 3.

It is also built with an advanced sensor that can measure users’ heart rate, and they can see it in the Fitness application. To do this, Apple has used a custom photoplethysmography sensor that shines invisible infrared light pulsed at 256 times per second to measure the light absorption in blood flow, which is officially stated by Apple itself. The data is sent to device AI models on the iPhone to give an accurate reading of their heart rate, but it’s not just heart rate. The latest AirPods Pro 3 can also track 50 different workouts using the built-in accelerometers, gyroscope, and GPD sensors. It also features the Workout Buddy, an Apple Intelligence-powered feature that will help motivate users through the fitness journey.

This latest fitness addition, AirPods Pro 3, can also do live translations in five languages, including English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish. Apple is also expected to add support for Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese by the end of the year. It also improved the sound quality and delivers 2x better Noise cancellation than the AirPods Pro 2 and 4 times better than the original Pro model. They have a better fit and a more extended battery, lasting 8 hours with the ANC and 10 hours in transparency mode. It will cost $249, which is around Rs 22,000.
