New Delhi: Amazon has extended its Echo Show lineup in India by introducing its two latest smart displays, the Echo Show 11 and the fourth-generation Echo Show 8. The latest devices are positioned as smarter, better-sounding, and more capable home assistants, aimed at users who want a single screen to manage daily routines, entertainment, and smart home controls without much effort. Both the Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 come with edge-to-edge glass displays and slimmer bezels, giving them a more modern and premium look compared to older Echo Show models sold in India. The Echo Show 11 gets an 11-inch full HD screen, while the Echo Show 8 features an 8.7-inch HD display.
Amazon is now clearly pushing these devices as everyday home companions. With the touch controls and hands-free Alexa voice commands, users can control compatible smart home devices, create routines, manage calendars, prepare shopping lists, and even ask for replies while cooking. A key upgrade powering these features is Amazon’s custom AZ3 Pro silicon, paired with the latest Omnisense sensor platform. Omnisense uses a mix of sensors, including the 13MP camera, audio input, ultrasound, Wi-Fi radar, accelerometer, and Wi-Fi CSI.
The displays are also designed to be comfortable to use throughout the day. Amazon has also stated that the screens offer vivid colours and sharp details, while ambient visuals adjust based on the surroundings. For video calls, both devices come with a 13MP camera with centred auto-framing and noise reduction. The Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 feature the latest audio architecture with front-firing stereo speakers and a custom woofer. Music, podcasts, and audiobooks can be streamed from services like Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, JioSaavn, and Audible, depending on subscriptions.
The Echo Show 11 is priced at Rs 26,999, while the Echo Show 8 costs Rs 23,999. Both models are available in Graphite and Glacier White colours and can be purchased through e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and from offline stores like Reliance Digital and Croma. Amazon has also confirmed that the latest Echo Show devices are built to support Alexa+, its generative AI-powered assistant, once it becomes available in India.
