New Delhi: Amazon has officially unveiled its latest AI-powered shopping feature that will enable users to interact while listening to product summaries. This latest AI-powered feature, called Join the Chat, is part of its existing Hear the highlights feature and allows customers to ask questions in real-time using text or voice.
Now, this feature is only limited to US, this feature will enables to users to not only listen to an audio overview, but also receive with tailored responses based on their questions while the audio continues to play.
This feature is specially designed to make product discovery more interactive. Users can ask questions such as whether the product is suitable for them or not, or if it is easy to use, and many other things about the product.
AI responds by using the information from product listings, customer reviews, and other publicly available data about the product. Once the response has been delivered, the audio resumes without any interruption.
AI will also avoid repeating information that has already been covered in the summary and will rather build on it by offering more relevant details. Users can also ask follow-up questions by shaping the conversation based on their needs.
This system will use multiple AI technologies. Each of the product summaries will begin with an AI-generated script. Answers will be delivered by using text-to-speech technology designed to match the tone of the original audio.
This approach focuses on creating a smoother experience compared to the conventional voice assistants.
