New Delhi: Amazon has brought something unique, some exciting features. Recently, Amazon announced that it is going to bring its AI-powered Alexa+ music capabilities to the Amazon Music mobile application on iOS and Android. It is going to expand its access to the conversational music discovery features for users in the early access programme.

This integration is now rolling out to the users and enabling the Alexa+ Early Access for customers to use the enhanced voice assistant across all Amazon Music subscription tiers. Users can access the features by downloading the latest version of the application and tapping on the “a” button in the lower right corner.
Amazon stated that customers have been using the Alexa+ Explore Music three times more than with the original Alexa. Users who have searched for music recommendations listened to nearly 70% more music compared to the standard Alexa usage. According to the company, this AI-powered assistant uses generative AI to enable more natural, conversational interactions about music. Users can ask complex questions about the songs, artists, genres, and music history, with the system responding in a dialogue format rather than basic command responses.
Alexa+ can now identify songs based on partial information, such as fragmentary lyrics, artist names, or movie soundtracks. Users can ask questions, and the system will also provide detailed music knowledge, answering questions about the positions, band histories, festival lineups, and the connections between the artists.
These features will enable users to refine music selections through ongoing conversation. Users can make particular requests that will combine multiple criteria, such as playing flamenco-inspired music that incorporates modern beats. Alexa+ can also generate customised playlists based on the detailed parameters, including the mood, era, energy level, and specific situations.
