New Delhi: Perplexity AI has officially unveiled the Email Assistant, an agent for Gmail and Outlook that can schedule meetings, prioritise emails and draft responses on behalf of users. The email assistant has been made available for all of the Perplexity Max subscribers recently. This assistant learns the user’s communication style and then writes emails in the same tone. It also keeps an eye on the user’s priorities and suggests meeting timings based on their calendar.

Users can also ask their Email Assistant questions about their inbox, summarise all of the messages about the Q4 budget, and they can also ask to show the users anything urgent from the design team this week. This is officially said by the Perplexity AI. Users can CC Perplexity Email Assistant on any mail thread and allow it to handle the scheduling. The assistant auto-labels emails and organises them so users can easily skip spam emails.
Perplexity Email Assistant is also much secure for the user, and they can also comply with the SOC 2 and the GDPR by default. Additionally, it will never train on the users’ data, which is also officially stated by Perplexity AI. Just on September 22, the AI startup expanded its AI browser Comet to cover Pro subscribers in India. And the Windows and Mac users can easily access this AI browser on their desktops.
