New Delhi: Google’s AI assistant application, now the most used assistant, Gemini, has surpassed 450 million monthly active users globally. Now the company claims that a significant portion of this growth can be attributed to India. Google has reached this milestone by enhancing the localisation of its tools for these users, including support for 12 regional languages, and integrating these tools with partners, as well as Indian developers, to build Gemini-powered applications. The Analysts suggested that the strong performance of Gemini reflects a broader trend of AI moving from niche technological advancements to mainstream utility.
