New Delhi: Google has recently started rolling out its Gemini-powered Fitbit Coach to more countries, expanding beyond the US. This AI-driven health coaching tool, which is the first to be unveiled in public preview in October, offers personalized workout plans, sleep insights, and recovery suggestions based on the user’s data. Alongside the regional expansion, the Public Preview is also being expanded to iOS users, enabling more Fitbit Premium subscribers to access the feature through the redesigned Fitbit application.
Fitbit Coach is currently rolling out to the Premium subscribers in the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. The coach is now available in English and requires a Fitbit Premium subscription. The current Public Preview will also extend to the iOS users in these countries, including the US. The health coach offers personalized training by creating workout routines based on the user’s fitness goals, preferences, and available equipment. It also adjusts training schedules automatically using real-time data, such as suggesting lighter sessions after a poor night’s sleep. Users can check at any time to log their progress or request changes in their routine when needed.
This latest updated system will include improved sleep tracking with a more detailed breakdown of sleep stages and duration. It also offers weekly insights that highlight patterns such as trouble falling asleep or sleep disruptions due to travel. The coach connects with the data from Fitbit devices, Pixel Watch, Google Health Connect, and Apple HealthKit to offer a broader view of the user’s health by that fitness coach will understand the users health clearly. Users can ask whether they should rest, exercise, or manage stress, and receive advice based on their personal data. The application also identifies long-term trends to help users make more informed daily health decisions.
Google has also mentioned earlier that the Fitbit application has been redesigned with AI coaching at its core. The application now provides more intuitive layouts, improved syncing, and dark mode. Data visualization has been simplified by making it easier to access key metrics.
