New Delhi: Google has recently announced that they have unveiled its latest Nano Banana Pro, a latest image creation and editing engine that marks the company’s latest leap in AI tools. This rollout comes just days after Google announced its upgraded Gemini AI model, which helped drive a surge in the company’s stock earlier in the week. It is built on the Gemini 3 Pro system. Nano Banana Pro is intended to deliver far more precise and flexible visual output.
This latest tool is already available within the Gemini applications, where users can test it with a limited number of free image generations. It will also integrate with Google’s writing assistant, NotebookLM, as well as the company’s developer, enterprise, and advertising platforms. Access to Google Search’s AI Mode is being reserved for subscribers of the AI Pro and Ultra plans, while the Ultra users are expected to see the feature surface first within the Flow, Google’s AI-powered video creation service. Google has also added a detection feature inside the Gemini application that allows users to check whether Google’s AI systems generated an image.
Pictures produced by free Nano Banana accounts automatically display a watermark. The mark will only disappear for those subscribed to the AI Ultra plan. Nano Banana Pro aims to simplify the process of turning ideas into polished visuals. Users can describe an image, and the system constructs it, or they can upload an existing photo and request highly targeted adjustments. Google also stated that the latest model interprets instructions with greater clarity, drawing on the capabilities of Gemini 3 Pro and even tapping real-time information from Google Search when prompted. Nano Banana Pro can produce clear, readable writing within the visuals, from concise labels to extensive blocks of text, and it supports a wide range of languages. This capability is designed to help users create posters, project graphics, social media art, and other formats where integrated text is essential.
Google also added that Nano Banana Pro is capable of maintaining strong visual consistency, keeping faces and objects steady across multiple images, blending as many as fourteen sources, and preserving the appearance of up to five people. This is expected to benefit designers working on product visuals, style-matched collections, or refined concept art. The tool is available broadly through the Gemini application’s image creation features. While free users receive a modest quota, those subscribed to Google AI Plus, Pro, or Ultra gain expanded access. It is also offered in AI Mode in Google Search for Pro and Ultra customers in the US and through NotebookLM for subscribers worldwide.
