New Delhi: YouTube has made some valuable changes in their short video editing. This information and these things YouTube has done quietly, but in some sources it has come to know, and by this, creators are now pretty much shocked by the tools they have introduced in their short video editing. They are turning out actually for running on the experiment where the AI is involved, and is being used to make changes in the videos, which YouTube has described as only for the good of the content. Yeah, users have heard right, now they can make their editing in their short video by using the AI tools which they have introduced.
The company is using the machine learning technology to unblur, denoise and improve the clarity in the videos while it processes the content, this doesn’t feel like a bad deal, but the YouTuber’s questions suggest they were not informed about this latest introduced AI on their videos. These clarifications should not be made after the creators question the company, YouTube should have kept its community in the loop about these supposed experiments, especially when their content is being tampered with under the guise of machine learning.
YouTube is taking AI to disrupt its creator market by offering Shorts videos that can be created using basic text prompts. The video streaming platform intends to bring Google’s Veo 3 AI model for video editing, which makes shooting a video and creating a script redundant in a big way. The integration of Veo 3 into the YouTube Shorts is expected later this year, and the updates were recently shared by the YouTube CEO Neal Mohan at an event which was organised recently.
The company is seeing over 200 billion views per day on Shorts, which translates into a hefty payout for the creators. However, using AI changes the model for both parties, certainly, but YouTube will need to be smart with its plans and share them with the community to avoid facing heavy backlash. But in terms of YouTube creators, this feature is suitable for the users, as it means now they can clarify their Shorts videos by using the AI tools, which makes them clearer for the viewers.
