New Delhi: Anthropic is setting up their Claude more advanced for the users, previously Claude cannot able to remember past chats, so this time Anthropic making Claude more even better, they have added the memory, now this AI (Artificial Intelligence) chatbot now is ability to reference past chats when users will asked to the chatbot, so users don’t need to re-explain the chatbot. These features seem like they could help the users to pick up a work project after time away, or query Claude for the details of the past research session that users don’t quite remember.

The major point is that Claude has to be prompted, that it doesn’t call past chats unless the user specifically asks it to. Anthropic also stated that Claude’s ability to reference chats is specific to the workspace and project users are working in. Anthropic’s implementation is much more limited in scope compared to how ChatGPT’s memory feature works. OpenAI updated ChatGPT in April to save all the conversations the users have with it, and rely on those records to personalise answers to any new question or prompt users send.
The basic idea is that every conversation could improve the chatbot’s responses. Google lets the Gemini similarly recall past conversations and has also tested using the Google Search history to further personalise AI responses. In contrast to both, Claude is really only performing a search of past conversations when the users will ask, not referencing a profile of past chats. It’s more privacy-minded by default, and users can disable Claude’s ability to do it at all through a settings toggle.
The users have subscribed to the Max, Team or Enterprise plans. Claude’s latest ability should be rolling out in the upcoming days. According to Anthropic, the company says that the feature will expand to other plans soon. This chatbot is also just copying the features that Gemini and ChatGPT have made in their chatbot, just for the popular name, as ChatGPT and Gemini have made in recent days.
