About the Product: The technology is based on electrons that create negative ions that attack airborne particles, droplets and viruses; positively charged collector plates catch negatively charged particles. Ionizers remove viruses and other airborne particles quickly and effectively, reducing airborne transmission. The negative ion technique balances energy, cleans the air, and improves health, as ionizers have been shown to inhibit all viruses, including coronavirus. Instashield disables the viruses that can spread by talking, coughing, sneezing, breathing or touching contaminated objects. With the usage of Instashield, one can prevent himself from any viruses.
Talking about the inspiration behind this product Mr Hitesh Patel said, “The year 2020 has seen the most disastrous year of this decade because of the deadly virus Covid 19 hit the world and changed our lives. With the pandemic’s low and peak situation, we are all gripped with fear. Post Covid, we have seen an increase in lifestyle disorders like CVD, Mental health like stress, depression, brain fog etc. Experts believe that COVID-19 will likely stay with us as the virus mutates with new variants like the x series followed by the y series. To combat this deadly virus, scientists, virologists, health experts, and pharma companies have been working on Vaccines, Boosters, and medicines, with alternatives like masks, sanitizers, maintaining social distancing etc. Despite the above solutions, there is a gap which we at Instashield was trying to fill. We were looking for a holistic preventive solution. After extensive research, we came up with this innovative, first-of-its-kind electron-based negative ion and virus slayer medical device tech product, which emits negative ions and kills all sorts of viruses, including the coronavirus, with an efficacy of 99.9%.
Being a start-up, one has limited resources and huge investments that need to put in continuous R&D, Clinical trials, New Product Development, Scientific Validation, talent resources, branding, and marketing. To address these challenges, Instashield got incubated with the Atal Incubation centre of CCMB, which is under the ICMR being the relevant category of Science and Technology; they had taken their support for trails, new product development, using their labs, available R&D infrastructure, networking with various other relevant Institutions. Apart from this, as the company is registered with MSME and start-up India, it is seeking Government support to recognize this technology as a need of the hour.
Promoter and Director of Instashield, Mr Hitesh Patel shares how Instashield helps those who are fighting with depression and anxiety, “Depression is the most common disorder in India with 47.7 million people suffering from it, and this number continues to rise. Recently brain fog is also added to the league. With our technology of negative ions, it works on the serotonin levels in the brain that are normalized by negative ions, which may improve a person’s outlook and mood as well as mental concentration and performance, thus increasing metabolism, strengthening the body’s immunological system and modifying one’s sleeping and emotional stress. Also, depression symptoms are reduced”.
Future Plans: Instashield’s plan is a two-pronged strategy; one, we will invest in Research and Development (R&D) and bring about more advanced versions of Instashiled, like a portable model that can be used in cars and for mobility. Simultaneously we see vast potential in Animal Husbandry, like swine flu, bird flu, and recently lumpy virus. We are in the process of developing new technologies for this segment also.
Simultaneously, we are expanding our markets globally, as we have CE certificates of exports apart from India, where we have a presence in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. Very shortly, we would expand to all the country’s other states. We are demonstrating to various centre and state health ministries to support our technology to place our product in Hospitals, Government Institutions, Public places, PSUs, Railway stations, Airports, Bus stands, etc.
