Made-in-India EV two-wheeler, EVeium is the brand of Ellysium Automotives, the auto arm of the United Arab Emirates-based META4 Group. Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Hyderabad. Eveium is dedicated to producing environment-friendly, cost-effective, durable and sustainable products with a vision to promote clean energy and a sustainable ecosystem, EVeium’s reliable electric two-wheelers are manufactured in accordance with the Fame2 approvals mapped by the Indian regulatory authority.
Mr Aditya Reddy, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, states how Eveium is different from other e-mobility brands, “The Indian vehicle market is primarily dominated by two-wheelers, which account for more than 70% of all registered vehicles. Therefore, any effort to fix the issues associated with fossil fuels in the transportation sector must prioritize the consumption of these vehicles. While other competitors attempt to solve this problem by relying on green energy, which reduces emissions, EVeium’s product value also addresses other bottlenecks in the EV market. Industry experts say safety and range are the two most significant barriers to the country’s switchover to electric vehicles. EVeium two-wheelers are thus designed with the understanding that India is unique and that temperature, geography, and road conditions differ considerably across regions. Since EVeium’s testing standards and metrics are not uniform, the product portfolio is safe and delivers high speed compared to competitors. EVeium has also joined forces with ELLYSIUM Automotives to develop a complete EV Ecosystem, which includes establishing an integrated Battery Charging/Swapping network.”
EVeium’s presence was felt in the Indian market by launching three high-speed two-wheelers to compete with the already crowded two-wheeler segment.
COSMO, COMET, and CZAR, with prices ranging between Rs 1.44 lakh and Rs 2.16 lakh, have given tough competition to the other large players’ offerings. The Cosmo electric scooter has a 2000 W motor that allows it to achieve a top speed of 65 kmph and a range of 80 km. The Eveium Comet e-scooter comes with a 50Ah battery pack and a 3000 W motor that can propel the scooter to 85 kmph. The Czar has a 42Ah battery but is the most powerful motor among the three, rated at 4000 W. The scooter has a maximum speed of 85 kmph, a range of 150 km, and a battery pack that can be charged up in 4 hours, similar to the Comet. The COMET and CZAR also come with a Reverse Gear feature, making the commute a comprehensive, cutting-edge technology-oriented experience. Buyers can now book any model of their choice from the company’s website and easily navigate and select the colour and delivery location. Authorized dealers in each region are instructed to provide seamless end-to-end after-sales service to all EVeium customers.

Starting from scratch is challenging; it requires uniqueness, consistency and a lot of hard work. Aditya shared his challenges: “It is not easy to establish a new brand. It mandates serious consideration, involvement, research, and an investment of time and energy. For ELLYSIUM Automotives, expanding and developing a new brand meant solidifying business momentum, offering new products or services, optimizing employee and shareholder value, increasing marketing initiatives, and forming new industry alliances. The objective is to assign the brand to new contexts where it can add value and improve itself.”
Future Plans: EVeium Smart Mobily is on a roll, with plans to open showrooms in eight states and 25 cities by the end of 2023. To meet rising demand, the EV Startup will now be available to customers in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Goa, and the surrounding regions of Telangana, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, the brand plans to open 100-plus showrooms across India by the end of 2023, expand its product portfolio in different categories and mark its footprints in new geographies in the Indian subcontinent.
