New Delhi: According to reports, the Bengaluru-based cybersecurity firm Prikus Tech has raised roughly $6.2 million in a seed investment round to put money into creating new products and increasing the size of its employees globally.
Prikus was established in 2018 and specialised in offering pen testing services, which involve simulating cyberattacks on systems to determine their susceptibility to such crimes. Prikus intends to introduce PrikSec, a unified penetration testing as a service (PTaaS) for businesses.
“Our clients are investing millions in expanding their application landscape and amplifying their cloud presence. This poses a huge challenge for continuous security posture management and traditional pen testing that is completely human dependent fails to meet this speed and scalability challenge”, said Prameel Arjun, Founder and CEO Prikus Group. The business employs a hybrid strategy to deliver services using automated systems, AI, and ethical hackers.
Together, the government and banking industries account for 50 of Prikus’ 30 employees. More than 250 small, Medium, and large cybersecurity projects have been completed across various sectors. The business offers goods and services like programme evaluation, data classification, data encryption, static and dynamic data masking, data activity monitoring, and security management.
