New Delhi: Bonatra, a health startup, recently announced its acquisition of women’s health and wellness company, MyAva. Through this acquisition, Bonatra plans to expand its healthcare programs and become a platform for the management of chronic health conditions, particularly those affecting women, such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid disorders, and insulin resistance, among others.

Bonatra, founded by Rahul Kishore Singh (CEO), Manjari Chandra (CMO), Ramanpreet Singh (COO), and Amit Acharya (CTO) in April 2022, integrates clinical expertise with technology to achieve holistic health. The company offers personalized and targeted lifestyle, nutritional, and fitness interventions to balance hormones and correct gut dysbiosis, among other functional methods.

Commenting on the acquisition, Rahul Kishore Singh, CEO and Co-founder of Bonatra, said, “Acquiring MyAva empower us to expand our reach and deepen our expertise in women’s health, especially for conditions like PCOS. We have been working closely with the MyAva team and believe that this will be a good strategic fit for Bonatra.”

Evelyn Immanuel, Founder and CEO of MyAva added, “MyAva is thrilled to join Bonatra and further the vision of making chronic care management accessible to all women. We believe this further strengthens our combined commitment towards making femtech more inclusive and integrated.”

Yagnesh Sanghrajka, Founder and CFO of 100X.VC, a venture capital firm, also praised the acquisition, stating that it would further enhance Bonatra’s offerings and solidify its position as a leading player in the healthcare industry.

Earlier in November 2022, Bonatra raised Rs 5.5 crore in a pre-seed round led by ITI Growth Opportunities Fund, with participation from angel investors such as Jitendra Jagadev, Founder of Nestaway and Helloworld, and Rajesh Yabaji, Founder of Blackbuck.

In conclusion, Bonatra’s acquisition of MyAva is a strategic move to expand its healthcare programs and deepen its expertise in women’s health. With Bonatra’s clinical expertise and MyAva’s experience in women’s health, the two companies can work together to provide more personalized and effective care to women with chronic health conditions.
