Bangalore: On World Environment Day, DrinkPrime, the IoT-enabled water purifier on rent, displayed its commitment to environmental sustainability by organising a tree planting programme with 370 students at two Bengaluru Government Schools, Sonnapanahalli and GLPS Suggatta-Hunasamaranahalli. DrinkPrime donated their smart water purifiers to these government schools as a part of their #DonateWithDrinkPrime CSR initiative last year.
The event sought to empower young minds and inspire them to take responsibility for environmental protection, ensuring a greener and healthier future. DrinkPrime delivered tree saplings to the excited children as part of the programme, teaching them the importance of taking care of their environment, their role in protecting the ecosystem and the good impact of planting and nurturing trees.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to engage with young minds on World Environment Day and inspire them to become guardians of our planet,” said Mr Vijender Reddy Muthyala, Co-Founder and CEO of DrinkPrime. “Through initiatives like these, we reinforce our core values of promoting a healthier and greener planet while working to revolutionise people’s access to clean and safe drinking water.”
DrinkPrime’s senior technician effectively led the general service of water purifiers, methodically attending to each DrinkPrime water purifier, ensuring the highest quality standards. The team delivered an interesting and instructive experience for the children by combining expertise and passion, emphasising the importance of planting trees for a sustainable future.
About DrinkPrime
DrinkPrime was started to solve a personal problem – How do we get access to clean, safe, and healthy drinking water? Seems simple, but here’s what we found. First, most of the water you get in plastic cans isn’t fit for drinking. Second, less than 10% of Indians actually own a water purifier! That’s when we realised this was not just a personal problem but an opportunity to help more people. It’s been seven years since we started on this journey. Today, 1 lakh+ users in 7 cities depend on us to access clean and safe drinking water!
