Surat: BNI is hosting the three-day long Surat Biz Fest, “Bharat Startup Summit”, in the diamond city of Surat commencing today, March 24th, which is the first day of the Fest organized at the Amore which was dedicated to the start-up fest. This event is an initiative by BNI Greater Surat and Corporate Connections.
In the presence of valued Investors, Startup Founders, Business entities and Social Media Influencers, the Executive Director of BNI Greater Surat, Gaurav Singhvi, kicked off the fest by introducing his new venture Avinya Ventures, which means ‘Innovation’, and with this fresh venture, India’s startup ecosystem will undoubtedly be boosted.
One of the keynote speakers and prominent angel investors, Apurva Chamaria, Head of Startups & Venture Capitalist at Google India, addressed the audience and created an interactive conversation and said, “We should not only aim to create an independent India but create the country’s startups in such a way that the entire world would depend on India” Further complimenting Gujarat for its innovative ideas exclaiming that 10% of all India’s apps are from Gujarat.
Later on, Nimith Agarwal, the mediator held a panel discussion regarding ‘Investing in Early-stage startups: The Risks and Rewards of Backing New Age businesses’ with Kashyap Pandya, Founder of Syncoro Ventures, Co-founders of Unisync Angels; Pratik Bose, Managing Partner, Indian Angel Networks; Apurva Arora, Founder of EPIC ventures; Vivek Kapoor, Co-Founder of Dineout discussed the startup community and quenched the thirst of budding startup founders with their invigorating speech and manner of conversation the event took a smooth ride towards the startup showcase.
This three-day extensive ‘Bharat Startup Summit’ will serve as a perfect networking destination for over 10,000+ business owners, 500+ business entities, (45+) speakers participated, 130 plus premium exhibitors, more than 200 startup founders and participants from approximately 40+ BNI India regions.
