Surat: Automobile aficionados will witness and experience the western India’s largest ‘Surat International Auto Expo-2026’ to be held for four days at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre at Sarsana, Surat starting from March 13. For the first time, all the big brands in four-wheelers, commercial vehicles, two wheelers are participating in the event, which is expected to draw more than 50,000 people.
Nikhil Madrasi, president of SGCCI said, “With Gujarat now emerging as an automobile hub, this mega show will showcase cars, two-wheelers, commercial vehicles and latest workshop technology by leading companies of the country. More than 70 brands from car segment, two-wheeler segment, commercial segment and ancillaries have participated. This expo will provide an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs, businessmen and professionals to understand new technologies and global trends.
SGCCI VP, Ashok Jirawala said, “The inauguration ceremony of Surat International Auto Expo will be held on Friday, It will be held on March 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Ushakant Marfatiya Hall, Sarsana in the presence of dignitaries, in which Nitinbhai Dosa, Chairman of Vintage and Classical Car Club of India (VCCCI), will be the inaugurator and the Auto Expo will be inaugurated by his presence”
Auto Expo chairman Mehul Desai said that after Delhi, this Auto Expo in Surat is the second largest composite expo in India, in which more than 20 renowned brands like Mini Cooper, Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar-Land Rover, Tata Motors, Hyundai, Kia, Jeep, MG and MG Select, Renault, Nissan, Skoda, Toyota, Volvo, Citroen and Mahindra are participating.
Two-wheeler and commercial segments will feature Royal Enfield, Suzuki, KTM, Ather, River, Kinetic Electric Truck, Bajaj Chetak, KTM, Triumph Yamaha, TVS and commercial segments will feature Tata, Swaraj, Mazda and Mahindra.
Talking about the attractions at the show, Desai said, “About 10 extremely rare vintage cars will be the center of attraction for the public at the Auto Expo. Apart from this, 10 new passenger vehicles and 3 commercial vehicles will be unveiled at the Expo. Moreover, a stunt bike show and an off-road proving ground will be the main attraction for the visitors”
Auto expo co-chairman, Kanubhai Modi and Pradhumansinh Jadeja said, “The Chamber of Commerce has received support from organizations like Mobil, All India Automobile Workshops Association, Surat Car Accessories Association and Union Bank of India in organizing the Auto Expo.”
