Hyderabad, October 22: Blackbaud (NASDAQ: BLKB), the world’s leading provider of AI-powered solutions for social impact, recognized the winners and runners-up of the inaugural India edition of its Social Good Startup Program. Delivered in collaboration with T-Hub, the focused 12-week program attracted 135 applications and connected selected Indian startups with Blackbaud product and engineering expertise to build integrations addressing defined challenges across education, financial management, fintech and fundraising.
Fifteen startups were invited to pitch, eight were selected and seven completed the full program and presented final solutions. Five companies were recognized: three winners and two runners-up.
The three winners were:
- CredResolve, recognized for work focused on educational payment revenue acceleration;
- CogniSwitch, recognized for work focused on investment pool accounting for foundations;
- VyaptIX, recognized for work focused on accelerated payment integrations for developers.
Aczen and DOMDOG were recognized as runners-up for the strength of their integrations.
The winning prize for the recognized startups combined a cash reward to support their continued development with the opportunity for select startups to attend Blackbaud’s annual customer conference, bbcon 2026, to showcase their solutions and connect with Blackbaud leaders and the wider social impact technology ecosystem.
“India’s engineering and startup ecosystems bring together exceptional technical depth, entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to innovate at speed,” said Jennifer Willson, Senior Vice President, Global Engineering & Blackbaud India. “This program created a meaningful opportunity to apply those strengths to real challenges facing the social impact sector, while giving participating startups and Blackbaud teams the opportunity to build, learn and test new ideas together.”
The India edition adapted Blackbaud’s established global Social Good Startup Program into a faster, challenge-led format. Unlike the broader 12-month global experience, participating startups began with defined product challenges and worked with dedicated Blackbaud engineers and product managers across four pillars within a focused 12-week period. Startups received mentorship, technical access, structured integration support and exposure to Blackbaud’s global ecosystem.
“The response to the first India edition demonstrates the maturity and ambition of the startup ecosystem here,” said Rajiv Gajria, Vice President and Managing Director, Blackbaud India. “By connecting founders with defined product challenges and dedicated Blackbaud product and engineering teams, we created a genuine two-way learning experience. Startups gained access to global expertise and opportunities, while our teams gained new insights and a closer understanding of the innovation emerging from India.”
Following the program, winners CogniSwitch and VyaptIX, along with runner-up DOMDOG, participated in the Innovation Hub at bbcon 2026 in Columbus, Ohio. The startups showcased their solutions at the Social Good Startup Program booth, presented their solutions to focused groups, and connected with Blackbaud product leaders and members of the wider social impact technology ecosystem.
Blackbaud will continue working with the recognized startups to identify relevant enablement opportunities, increase visibility, build connections and explore appropriate avenues for continued engagement. Learnings from the first India edition will also inform discussions about how future Social Good Startup Program cohorts in India could evolve.
Following their return from bbcon 2026, the participating startups joined the wider cohort and Blackbaud teams for a closing celebration at T-Hub in Hyderabad on October 13. The event recognized the people and organizations that contributed to the inaugural India edition.
