Surat: The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (SGCCI) Art, Culture and Handicraft Committee is going places when it comes to spreading the awareness on arts and to provide a unique platform to the talented artists in Surat and south Gujarat. After Surat and Ahmedabad, the SGCCI’s Art, culture and handicraft committee has invited talented artists from across the country to participate in the prestigious art exhibition to be held in Mumbai. The main objective of this initiative is to give artists an opportunity to showcase their artistic talent on a large stage and to give them national recognition.
SGCCI president Nikhil Madrasi said that the art exhibition will be held from 5th to 11th May, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily at Nehru Centre Art Gallery, Ground Floor, Discovery of India Building, Dr. Annie Besant Road, Lotus Colony, Worli, Mumbai. The exhibition at the Nehru Centre Art Gallery, one of Mumbai’s leading art galleries, will provide an excellent opportunity for participating artists to interact directly with art lovers, collectors and curators.
Chairperson of the Chamber’s Art, Culture and Handicraft Committee, Swati Sethwala, said that artists wishing to participate in this exhibition will have to send clear pictures of their paintings to [email protected]. Along with this, it will be mandatory to indicate the name of the artist, title of the artwork, medium used and size of the artwork. The size of the artwork will have to be a minimum of 2 feet by 2 feet and a maximum of 3 feet by 3 feet. Priority will be given to works that comply with this criterion.
