Ahmedabad: For the first time, the Art, Culture and Handicraft Committee of the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) inaugurated a four-day long art exhibition to promote art and culture in Ahmedabad on Thursday. The art exhibition is being held from March 10 to March 22 at Satya Art Gallery, Navjivan Trust, behind Gujarat Vidyapeeth, Navrangpura area, Ahmedabad.
SGCCI president Nikhil Madrasi said that renowned art curators Anuj Ambalal and Vivek Desai as well as renowned wildlife photographer Saurabh Desai of Surat, who will play the role of mentor in this exhibition, will also be present at the event. He said that the chamber has invited art lovers, artists and citizens of Ahmedabad from Surat to visit this art exhibition and encourage the artists.
Chairperson of the Art, Culture and Handicraft Committee of the Chamber of Commerce, Swati Sethwala, said that an art exhibition has been organized in Ahmedabad with the aim of enabling artists from Surat to showcase their art across Gujarat. This exhibition will prove to be an important platform for the promotion of art and culture, where art lovers will get an opportunity to see various works of art.
A total of 19 talented artists will display their various works of art in this art exhibition. These works related to painting, creative expression and various forms of art will be a special attraction for art lovers. Visitors will get a great opportunity to closely observe art workers with different styles and subjects and understand the creativity of the artists.
