Surat: The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) and Basic Chemicals, Cosmetics and Dyes Export Promotion Council (CHEMEXCIL) jointly organised the curtain raiser ceremony for ‘Chemical and Pharma Expo 2026’ to be held in the diamond city of Surat for three day starting from May 15.
SGCCI president Nikhil Madrasi said that the SGCCI is committed for the all-round development of trade and industry by providing various new opportunities to the entrepreneurs in Surat and south Gujarat through exhibitions, seminars and networking platform. The chemical and pharma expo will prove to be a game changer in providing investment and innovation opportunities to the industrialists.
The Chemical and Pharma Expo 2026 will provide a dynamic B2B platform to chemical and pharmaceutical entrepreneurs. This expo will especially bring manufacturers, technology providers, researchers and industry leaders on a single platform. Various new opportunities will be created in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. Industrialists will be able to connect their businesses with local and at the national level.
SGCCI vice-president Ashok Jirawala stated that the chemical and pharmaceutical industries are moving towards sustainability, precision manufacturing and global competitiveness. However, this expo will provide a powerful platform for professionals to gain knowledge about technology, expand business networks and explore new markets.
Rakesh Jain gave information about the ‘Chemical and Pharma Expo 2026’. He said that this expo will be held at Surat International Exhibition and Convention Center, Sarsana, on May 15, 16 and 17, 2026. This expo will create new business opportunities for the chemical and pharmaceutical industry and connect industrialists with each other.
On this occasion, the curtain raiser of Chemical and Pharma Expo 2026 was formally launched by the then former President of the Chamber, Vijay Mewawala.
