Surat: The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) organized a live practical workshop on financial planning where Jaimin Sheth, Managing Director and CEO of Pyramid Wealth Distributors and CEO of Pyramid Strategic Advisors, CMA, highlighted the importance of personal financial planning through practical examples.
Jaimin Sheth, CMA, guided through practical examples on budgeting, emergency fund, insurance cover, various investment options, asset allocation and long-term wealth creation. He especially advised the youth to start financial planning at an early age. He said that discipline and long-term planning are the two main pillars of successful financial planning. Investors should avoid making wrong decisions in the lure of short-term gains and should invest according to their risk tolerance.
He said that financial planning is not just a matter of saving money, but a process of making systematic plans for different stages of life. Through proper planning, one can face financial uncertainties with confidence. In today’s times, considering the rising inflation and changing economic situation, systematic investment and regular review are very necessary. It is not enough to just increase income, but it is important to create wealth by investing in the right direction.
The welcome address was delivered by the Group Chairman of the Chamber, Mr. Kamlesh Gajera. The Co-Chairman of the Capital and Commodity Market Committee of the Chamber, Mr. Hashim Yaqub Ali, introduced the speakers. Advisor to the Capital and Commodity Market Committee, Mr. Ketan Dalal thanked the participants for attending the program.

During the program, a question and answer session was held with the members present, in which the speaker answered various questions related to financial planning and guided the participants.
