Q. What inspiration or concept led to the creation of the Learning Spiral?
The inspiration for establishing the learning spiral was to shift the Higher education system at the grassroots level. In the Indian educational system, 4 to 5 months are wasted on exams. During this period, the schools/colleges become the centres, the teachers evaluators, and the whole learning process shuts down. The same is the case with universities; during the exams, teachers get occupied with administrative duties and the universities get closed for 2-3 months. Learning Spiral, an online examination/assessments solution provider reforms the timeline as cumulatively, students have 12 months, but effectively the learning is hardly happening for 5-6 months in the entire year. The last 3 years have changed that outlook and we have seen a huge upsurge in adoption and acceptance. Q. What is the future of AI in India’s education sector?
AI applications have been developed for the education sector. And so many processes have become simpler and faster. Students can participate in online courses without interruption and access all learning materials via computers, laptops and smart devices, so students can quickly join classes and do not need to attend physical classes. Many automation tasks are also handled by AI, smoothing the process and saving time and money.
Artificial intelligence provides a secure solution to ensure the integrity of online test system assessments in a cost-effective and scalable manner. AI can reduce or even eliminate the need for physical supervisors/invigilators and make deployment far more scalable. We wish to be the vendor of choice for Examination solutions for any University or Recruitment body. We also wish to expand our offerings beyond the Indian geography, especially our platform for conducting Online Examinations with AI-enabled remote Proctoring. Also, we are on a mission to reduce the time to evaluate results accurately for High Stake assessments by half. This will add more than 20 million person-months of learning for the youth of our country. This is something which motivates and drives our team and its efforts.
