The Future of Healthcare Is Here: A Woman Entrepreneur Driving Breakthroughs in MedTech and AI

New Delhi: Healthcare is evolving rapidly, demanding bold ideas and technology-driven solutions to meet its growing complexities. At the forefront of this shift is a young woman entrepreneur—the cofounder of FifthCare Solutions, Medhic.ai, and Cancer Conscious Clinics—whose mission is clear: to infuse innovation and technology into healthcare, especially oncology, to create smarter, more personalised, and more efficient systems of care.

Her entrepreneurial journey began with the thought-provoking challenges she faced throughout her clinical career in the Indian healthcare system, along with the insights she gained while observing healthcare models in neighbouring countries. These experiences solidified her conviction that healthcare must advance beyond traditional boundaries. With over 20 years of experience in international technology business and collaborations with global industry experts across multiple sectors, her curiosity about healthcare challenges—particularly in oncology—deepened. This ultimately inspired her to pursue an Advanced Healthcare Management Programme at the Indian School of Business and Senior Executive Leadership at Oxford Business School.

Armed with this blend of international technology exposure, healthcare management training, and clinical expertise, she now addresses complex healthcare problems through a balanced, win-win approach for both patients and hospitals.

Cancer Conscious Clinics was born from this vision—to provide personalised, high-quality, and holistic cancer care, one patient at a time, without the burden of rushed consultations. FifthCare Solutions was founded to merge technological expertise with healthcare, innovating medical devices and developing med-tech systems that integrate AI with clinical and surgical insight. Its core mission is to embed transformative technologies into healthcare delivery.

At Medhic.ai, the focus is on designing intelligent digital systems, automating clinical workflows, and developing AI-driven decision-support tools that help hospitals operate with greater precision and efficiency. The work is centred on solving real-world challenges—enhancing access, improving quality, and strengthening clinical outcomes through technology.

Her commitment to innovation extends deeply into oncology. Given that cancer care demands speed, accuracy, and personalised decision-making, her platform leverages artificial intelligence and deep learning to support early diagnosis, optimise treatment planning, predict toxicity, and streamline post-treatment monitoring. Their device, OncoFlow Nova—currently under research—aims to predict and prevent chemotherapy-related toxicity by analysing molecular-level data to personalise dosing for each patient. By combining clinical expertise with advanced algorithms, the platform supports oncologists with meaningful insights that reduce delays and improve outcomes.

Complementing these technological platforms is Cancer Conscious Clinics, where she aims to transform cancer care delivery at the ground level. As cofounder and director, she champions a model that integrates personalised oncology with holistic health and wellness. The clinics focus on treating not only the disease but the whole individual—addressing physical, emotional, nutritional, and psychological needs. The next phase involves integrating AI-enabled tools to ensure continuous, tailored support beyond hospital walls.

Across all her ventures, the objective remains the same: to integrate innovation and technology so deeply into healthcare that patient care becomes proactive, personalised, and empowering.

Her journey in building cutting-edge healthcare solutions has only just begun. With innovation as her compass and technology as her tool, she aims to shape a future where healthcare is accessible, intelligent, and truly centred on every patient’s needs.
