Gurugram: With more than twenty-five years of experience in early childhood education, Juhi Sharma, Founder of the Shubham Tyagi Foundation, has dedicated her life to nurturing young minds with compassion, patience, and a deep belief in the power of learning. Throughout her distinguished career as a vice principal and kindergarten teacher, she has consistently created a friendly, supportive, and inspiring learning environment, one where every child feels valued, encouraged, and motivated to grow. Her educational philosophy is rooted in empathy, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to bringing out the best in every child.
Guided by a vision to provide equal learning opportunities to children from less fortunate backgrounds, Mrs. Sharma established the Shubham Tyagi Foundation in 2021. Her goal was clear: to ensure that no child is deprived of education due to financial limitations, social barriers, or lack of access. What began as a small, heartfelt initiative has gradually transformed into a meaningful organisation that continues to impact young lives in profound ways. She was also recently honoured under the “Most Powerful Women in Business 2025” initiative by Nandish Communication, recognising her exceptional leadership and dedication to empowering children through education.
Today, the foundation proudly supports 50 children between the ages of 3 and 14, offering them access to education, academic support, emotional guidance, and a safe environment that nurtures their overall well-being. These children come from families facing financial challenges, yet each child carries immense potential and a strong desire to learn. The foundation stands beside them, providing the resources, encouragement, and structured support they need to pursue their dreams confidently.
Under Mrs. Sharma’s thoughtful leadership, the foundation focuses not only on academic development but also on holistic growth. Children are encouraged to explore creativity, build confidence, and develop essential values such as empathy, respect, discipline, and resilience. The team also works closely with parents, helping them recognize the importance of education and guiding them on creating a supportive learning environment at home.
A meaningful tradition that reflects the foundation’s commitment to emotional well-being is the celebration of each child’s birthday. Many of these children have never experienced a birthday celebration before, and this simple act brings immense joy and helps them feel loved, seen, and cherished. These celebrations have become a beautiful part of the foundation’s culture, reminding every child that they matter and deserve happiness.
Today, the Shubham Tyagi Foundation stands as a symbol of hope, compassion, and possibility. With continued support from volunteers, well-wishers, and the community, the organisation aims to expand its reach, empower more children, and create a future where education and opportunity are accessible to all. At its heart, the foundation remains more than an NGO—it is a safe haven, a guiding hand, and a source of inspiration for every child who walks through its doors.
