How Dr. Nehal Sadhu Combats Common Healthcare Challenges in Practice and Online

Dr. Nehal Sadhu is a doctor unlike any other. After completing his MD in Medicine, he established Shree Krishna Hospital and Heart Center nearly two decades ago. Through this, he has built a state-of-the-art facility that offers dependable and trustworthy medical guidance.

In the dynamic world of medicine, he and his team of doctors treat patients using the latest techniques and equipment. As a practicing physician, Dr. Sadhu has witnessed firsthand how changing lifestyles have impacted public health.

“We are increasingly seeing lifestyle-related disorders. Common conditions include hypertension, diabetes, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, metabolic syndrome, and stress-induced cardiac issues, especially in younger adults. Fatty liver disease, obesity, and anxiety-related physical symptoms are also on the rise. These patterns show a pressing need to educate people on preventive cardiology and early detection,” he says.

DNS Talks

While many doctors are aware of these challenges, Dr. Sadhu took it upon himself to address them personally. With most of his patients active on social media, he launched DNS Talks, a YouTube channel aimed at explaining the realities of becoming a doctor from a professional standpoint.

“DNS Talks was born from the idea that knowledge saves lives. With so much misinformation around, there’s a need for credible voices to bridge the gap between doctors and the public. Despite my packed schedule, the energy I receive from viewers, colleagues, and patients who benefit from these sessions keeps me going,” he explains.

Dr. Sadhu regularly hosts experts from various fields on DNS Talks:

“We choose guests based on relevance, expertise, and social impact. DNS Talks aims to bring authentic medical voices to the forefront, whether it’s top cardiologists, oncologists, surgeons, or mental health experts. Our target audience includes everyday health-conscious citizens, practicing doctors, and medical students. We aim to keep the content educational yet relatable, avoiding jargon and focusing on real solutions,” he says.

In addition to YouTube, Dr. Nehal uses DNS Talks on Instagram and other platforms to combat the flood of misinformation about health.
“Misinformation has unfortunately become a serious threat to public health, be it from unqualified influencers, half-read articles, or misinterpreted studies. We frequently see patients misled about diets, supplements, or alternative treatments. Through DNS Talks, we debunk health myths, explain medical conditions in simple terms, and promote preventive care. Reels and expert interviews help make science accessible, and trusted,” he says.

Through his content, Dr. Nehal addresses critical misconceptions that people continue to believe.

“One of the biggest myths is that heart disease only affects older people or those with a family history. In reality, stress, poor diet, sedentary lifestyles, and smoking are causing cardiac events in people as young as their late 20s and 30s. Another misconception is that once you’re on heart medications, you’re set for life. The truth is, lifestyle modification is the core of any effective cardiac treatment,” he emphasizes.

Dr. Nehal’s efforts have yielded positive results, both personally and professionally. Since launching DNS Talks six years ago, there have been several motivating moments.

“One time, I received a message from a young professional who thanked us after an episode on silent heart attacks. He had recognized symptoms in his father that matched our discussion, rushed him to a hospital, and saved his life,” he recalls.

To further amplify his impact, Dr. Nehal launched the DNS Bharat Medical Excellence Awards, aimed at recognizing the dedication and service of medical professionals.

“These awards were launched to celebrate not just clinical brilliance, but also dedicated service to humanity. Our goal is to build a credible recognition platform that uplifts morale in the medical community and inspires ethical, compassionate healthcare delivery.”

After a successful event in Ahmedabad in January 2025, Dr. Nehal plans to expand the initiative.

“Moving forward, we aim to expand it pan-India, include more award categories, involve medical students, and partner with government and private medical councils,” he shares.
Despite the many challenges of running a hospital and a medical show, Dr. Nehal remains committed to driving positive change in healthcare through his practice, content, and recognition efforts.
“Managing a hospital and a medical show at the same time is a challenge, but it fuels a loop of continuous improvement and knowledge exchange. My wife, Pinky Sadhu, has been a constant pillar of support, managing many aspects behind the scenes, which makes it all possible,” he says with gratitude.
