Bengaluru: Dr. Veena Shenoy is a visionary social entrepreneur, educator, and accessibility advocate whose work is reshaping the way communities, institutions, and organizations understand accessibility and inclusion. As the Founder and CEO of Inclusiv, she leads a powerful social impact mission dedicated to building barrier-free, sustainable, and inclusive environments for persons with disabilities and senior citizens. Under her leadership, Inclusiv has grown into a movement that influences infrastructure design, organizational culture, and policy implementation at scale.

Coming from a family of educators, Dr. Shenoy’s passion for building socially conscious leaders began early in life. Her deep commitment to education continues through her association with ISBR Business School, Bangalore, where she drives SDG-based initiatives and mentors students to engage meaningfully with society. She has connected more than 500 students with 32 NGOs and social enterprises, cultivating future leaders grounded in empathy, responsibility, and impact. Every week, she dedicates a full day to higher education institutions, ensuring that accessibility, inclusion, and social innovation remain central to academic spaces.

As a Philips Green Heart Ambassador, she advances SDG3 by promoting early heart-health screening and guiding youth toward healthier lifestyle practices that can significantly reduce non-communicable diseases in India.

Beyond entrepreneurship, Dr. Shenoy has played an influential role in shaping systemic change. She currently serves as the State President of the Karnataka Sustainable Development Goals Council under the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI). Earlier, she served as the State Chair for the Diversity and Inclusion Wing of G100 until 2025, contributing to national and global conversations on equity, accessibility, and social justice.

With nearly two decades of experience across industry, academia, research, and consulting, she brings a holistic understanding of inclusive development. Her academic credentials include a Ph.D. from NITK Surathkal, a gold medal in M.Com from Pune University, and a strong educational foundation from St. Agnes College, Mangalore.

As a seasoned accessibility consultant, Dr. Shenoy has collaborated with leading global corporations and institutions including IBM, Boeing, J.P. Morgan Chase, Wipro, Walmart, Infosys, Oracle, Tech Mahindra, Biocon, Sattva, Embassy Group, and many more. Her work spans accessible built environments, digital accessibility, audits, training, and strategic inclusion advisory.

Her contributions have earned wide recognition. She was named an Inclusion Fellow by the India Inclusion Foundation in 2023, representing India globally. She is also a member of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) and a TEDx speaker, inspiring action toward a more equitable and accessible society. She was also recently awarded under the Most Powerful Women in Business 2025 initiative by Nandish Communication.
