New Delhi: Mahindra’s electric three-wheeler segment is making big news again. According to the latest data, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility has taken a strong lead in the electric 3-wheeler passenger market with a huge 42.7% market share in October 2025. This shows how the company is not only growing fast but also setting a new benchmark for others in India’s EV sector.
Business leader Anand Mahindra shared a post on X (formerly Twitter), praising Suman Mishra, the CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility. He called her leadership “bold and intrepid” and said that even though three-wheelers don’t get as much attention as four-wheelers, “she knows they are spearheading the electric revolution.”
Many people on social media agreed with him. Users praised Mahindra for promoting more women in leadership roles and for focusing on affordable electric mobility for India’s common people. One user wrote, “Bold moves, zero emissions, full throttle respect.” Another said, “Three-wheelers may seem small, but they’re driving the electric revolution forward, literally and figuratively.”
However, not everyone had positive feedback. A user shared that an auto driver who shifted from a CNG auto to a Mahindra EV faced high repair costs and loan issues, saying he felt trapped. Such ground-level feedback shows that while EV adoption is rising, challenges like cost and maintenance still need attention.
Overall, the growing response around Mahindra’s EV three-wheelers shows one thing clearly, India’s electric journey is not just about cars anymore. From the busy lanes of Delhi to the small towns of India, Mahindra’s electric autos are quietly driving the change, one ride at a time.
