Gameskraft and WinZO Gaming Startups are Raided by ED

New Delhi: In inquiry into the possibility of manipulation of algorithms, the Enforcement Directorate has raided office of gaming startups Gameskraft and WinZO. The investigation is centered on the unfair systems of online games and the misappropriation of digital wallets by the companies.

Authorities are reviewing the way in which games are bringing winners and whether the users were fairly treated. The search also examines funds transfer and potential connection to crypto wallets. This has brought about the issue of trust in online gaming platform with serious questions.

The Indian gaming industry has been very fast, particularly among the young users. It has however been criticized as addictive and risky of money. Regulators now have increased efforts in the effort to shield the users.

Both of the companies have claimed to be collaborating with the authorities and that they think they have acted within the law. According to industry professionals, there has to be clear guidelines so that the true game firms do not suffer.
