Surat: Due to the shortage and excessive price hike of petroleum products, yarn spinners and traders have increased the prices of yarn excessively, the two major organizations of weaving industries producing cloth in Surat, Rapier Jacquard Weavers Association and Airjet Weavers Association, have had to issue guidance to the manufacturers that the manufacturing of the fabric should be done as per the order and while calculating its costing, the price at which the yarn was purchased should be calculated in detail, otherwise a small mistake can cause the manufacturer to suffer a loss of lakhs of rupees.
In the meeting of the Airjet Weavers Association, the Airjet High Speed Looms manufacturers were made aware of the current situation.
Addressing more than 1500 manufacturers, Airjet Weavers Association leader Mayur Gholia, Dr. Haresh Patel, Anil Savani said that there was a time when there was a boom in the market and the prices of yarn were stable, so they could produce cloth in advance. But, today the situation has become extremely difficult. The prices of yarn have increased drastically, on the other hand, there is no boom in the market, so we will have to work order to order and special care will have to be taken in calculating the costing of each order, otherwise there is a possibility of big losses. If there are no orders, then each manufacturer should adopt the option of voluntarily closing his factory.

The Airjet Weaver Association said that only if some guidelines are set for the manufacturers and they are followed strictly, every manufacturer will be able to survive in times of crisis. The Airjet Weaver Association has decided to take payment within 45 days and if the party does not pay within 45 days, then one and a half days of interest will also be collected along with the payment.
Due to the increase in the prices of basic raw materials and yarns of textile production, the prices have increased by at least 25 to 30 percent from the current rate, so when the costing of new orders is calculated, the price should be increased by at least 30 percent and the goods should not be sold below that. If the goods are sold at a lower price, the entire industry will suffer, so everyone should not sell the goods below the costing.
The Airjet Weaver Association has also claimed that many cheaters and fake traders and brokers have emerged in the market, if anyone gets even a small piece of information about such cheaters or brokers, then they should inform the association, by exposing them other manufacturers can be saved from cheating. A Payment settlement committe will be set up for any Airjet Weaver Association member manufacturer whose payments are stuck and they, along with lawyers, will provide guidance on how to get the payments out quickly.
