SITME-2026 exhibition to launch Beads Nylon Wire technology for the first time in India

Surat: The Bead nylon wire especially made for Embroidery Beads Machinery will be launched for the first time in India at the Surat International Textile and Machinery Exhibition (SITME-2026) organized by the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI). The SITME exhibition, one of the largest exhibitions of advanced textile machines, will be held for four days starting from January 9 to January 12 at Sarsana in Surat.

A state-of-the-art embroidery bead machinery will be displayed at the SITME exhibition. This nylon wire does not have a single knot in a length of 85,000 meters and after applying this wire to the machinery, there is no need to remove the cone for two months. Apart from that, the cone gets knotted five times in two months, so it needs to be changed five times. Whereas, since the 85,000 meters long nylon wire does not get knotted, maximum production can be taken on the embroidery machinery.

Nikhil Madrasi, president of SGCCI said that while Surat is known as the MSME hub of textile and diamond industry, intensive efforts are being made by the Chamber of Commerce in the coming days to add value to textiles and strengthen Surat’s textile value chain. Moreover, the main objective of this exhibition is to make the textile fabric produced through embroidery and value addition in textiles recognized as a brand in the foreign market.

Real fabric will be recognized in Surat through embroidery and digital printing machinery. Efforts will be made to achieve good margins by adding value to Surat’s fabric through embroidery machines. The Chamber of Commerce is trying to benefit not only manufacturers but also traders.

Surat Embroidery Association Joint Secretary  Sanjay Jha said that the Chamber of Commerce, which makes effective representations at various levels to the local, state and central governments to resolve various issues of each industry, tries to develop trade and industry. Therefore, we are organizing this exhibition in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce. Earlier, the SITEM exhibition was held in January-2024, March-2023 and January-2020, which received an overwhelming response. This year too, the most advanced embroidery machinery will be exhibited in the exhibition.

This exhibition will provide an important and effective platform towards developing Surat as a garment hub in the coming times. No one can stop this initiative to take Surat to a leading position in the garment sector now.

He further said that the SITEM exhibition will prove to be a golden opportunity for entrepreneurs, manufacturers and professionals associated with the garment sector. Because, advanced technology-based machines will be displayed here, using which entrepreneurs will be able to significantly increase their production capacity, quality and business development.
