New Delhi, September 30: The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) organised a plantation drive at Atal Akshay Urja Bhawan, New Delhi, under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative, as part of its efforts to promote a clean and green workplace and encourage environmental sustainability.
The plantation drive was led by the Shri Santosh Kumar Sarangi, Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, who planted a tree on the premises of the Ministry. Senior officials of the Ministry also participated in the drive and planted trees.
On #SwachhataHiSeva, MNRE reaffirmed its commitment to a cleaner and more sustainable environment through a cleanliness drive.
Shri Santosh Sarangi, Secretary, MNRE, along with senior officials and officials of the Ministry, participated in the initiative, highlighting the importance of collective action and shared responsibility towards cleanliness.
Every effort towards a cleaner surrounding is a step towards healthier communities and a Swachh, sustainable India.

The Secretary encouraged officers and staff to actively participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing green cover and promoting sustainable practices. Officers and staff participated in the drive and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining a clean and green workplace.
The plantation drive under “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” reflects the Ministry’s continued commitment to sustainability and contributes to the Government’s broader vision of promoting a greener and more sustainable future.
